Santa Purica has succeeded once again in preserving its integrity and protecting its independence. The King's representatives had a conversation with the people of Solis, after the country’s government tried to appeal to the UBN council over the detention of the Solisian Lily Karsy in a re-educational camp in Paragon.

 

What will Solis do? 

Solis’s representatives said they did not like the way we do things in our country. They are against our traditions, our ways and especially how sexuality is regulated here. Although their country stands for love, peace and embracing each other’s differences.

Eventually we saw that we also had a few things in common, namely the love for our people and our country.

It was decided to make a compromise. We will release Lily and let her return to her country, if Solis promises not to write badly about our country and our people. Solis wanted the opposition women of Santa Purica to come to their country, but that is something we, as Santa Puricans, cannot accept. The women in question are now being taken to re-educational camps and will stay there until they are ready for our society again. 

 

What will happen to Lily Karsy?

The influencer who lashed out at our country via social media was put in one of our re-education camps due to allegations about having a lesbian encounter with a married Santa Purican. After an investigation, these allegations were found to be false. After some consideration, The king and royal council have decided to let Lily Karsy move back to her nation Solis.  When asked about the event, Miss Karsy said: “ I am glad I get to go back to Solis, I am very tired of this country!”. She was also very sorry for the disruption of our peace, but says she will never lie about her opinions and what they can cause.

Our humble King Joseph wished to express his regret: “ we are sorry for this slip-up, we never want to treat our guests badly. I would like to apologize personally for the trouble we caused Miss Karsy.” 

 

The borders will close

In response to the crisis, King Joseph decided to prevent future incidents by closing the borders for the citizens of Santa Purica too. From today the borders with Ducentae and Nucleria will be guarded and controlled by our army, in order to keep everyone safe. 

Santa Puricans have historically been reluctant and unwilling to leave their beloved country. It is well known how proud we are of our culture and lifestyle, something that is completely different from the neighbouring countries of Nucleria, and even more Ducentae. For Santa Puricans leaving their country means losing everything they have: big and warm families, tight communities and a solid religious guidance. This is why the King is sure that this new measure will be gladly accepted by the true, loyal Santa Puricans.
